2019 Top 25 Hottest Towns in Massachusetts

The Lamacchia Realty 25 Hottest Towns report is in!  We look at every town in Massachusetts and take the Top 25 with the most growth in the number of sales when compared to last year.  To make this list there has to be a minimum of 200 sales in 2019 including single families, condos, and multi-families.  We also look at the median prices of each town.

Hull was included in 2018 Hottest Towns as well as this year, East Boston was included in the Top 10 in 2017, but every other town that made this list this year is new!

Top 10 Hottest Towns in 2019

  1. In Westwood, the number of homes sold increased by 36.6%, to 276, and median prices actually decreased by 12.1%, to $672,500.

  1. In Lunenburg, the number of homes sold increased by 32.3%, to 205, and prices increased by 6.8%, to $315,000.

5. West Springfield saw an increase in home sales by 20.5%, to 412 and an increase in prices by 5.37%, to $216,000.

  1. East Longmeadow saw an increase in home sales by 17.6%, to 281 and prices decreased by .04% to $259,900.

  1. In Dennis, the number of home sales increased to 598, an increase of 17.3%. Home prices fell by 2.4%, to $327,000.
