As we saw in our 2023 Year in Review Housing Report, home prices continue to rise across New Hampshire. The average selling price for a home hit $531,598 by year’s end, an increase of 7.2% compared to 2022.
Here is a list of the most expensive towns in New Hampshire in 2023:
1. New Castle
Coming in at number one is the town of New Castle with an average home selling price of $3,113,835. With its stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Piscataqua River, New Castle offers a unique blend of history, natural beauty, and small-town charm. Finally, the town of Hebron rounds out our top ten list. In 2023, Hebron had 20 home sales and averaged $1,022,972 in sales price. Hebron is a very quiet town with just under 900 residents. The town offers its citizens an array of mom-and-pop shops and several serene landscapes to discover. Whether you want to live by the mountains or book a private stay in one of their waterfront inns, Hebron’s atmosphere allows all to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life.
